Partnerships
We exist to support the aims of our partners. The Think Pacific Foundation was created through partnerships and it will continue to deliver in partnership.
Through national partnerships with Fijian government, charities and social enterprises we support Fiji’s National Development Plan and collaborate on national programs to improve health, education, sports development, local enterprise, life-skills and basic infrastructure in Fiji. We facilitate individuals to drive prosperity in their communities.

Think Pacific Limited, UK
Every project we support is developed in collaboration with rural communities and delivered at their request, ensuring that our work responds directly to local priorities. All programmes are guided, approved and monitored by the relevant Fijian Government Ministries, guaranteeing that our initiatives contribute meaningfully to national strategies and long-term sustainability. We are recognised for operating fully within government frameworks, strengthening the aims of the Fiji National Development Plan, supporting national youth development pathways, and advancing the Ministry of Health’s Towards a Healthy Fiji Islands initiative through improved infrastructure, access and community wellbeing.
Supplementing this, we collaborate with leading international universities and corporate partners to deliver structured global mobility programmes across Fiji. Each year, we assist in guiding hundreds of students and professionals through immersive, culturally grounded experiences that build leadership, transferable skills and global understanding. Through these partnerships, participants contribute directly to the priorities of our Fijian partners while gaining a deeper appreciation of Fiji’s culture, identity and development aspirations.
We increase education, opportunity and equality, and promote sustainable development in Fiji through collaboration and local empowerment.
Our Core Partner
Central to the Foundation’s sustainability is our core partnership with Think Pacific Limited, the social enterprise that has delivered immersive travel programmes for students around the world for more than 15 years. As an award-winning provider of study abroad, internships, industry placements and regenerative community travel, Think Pacific Limited offers a third-party platform that connects global learners with meaningful cultural and educational experiences in Fiji. This directly support aims under Fiji’s Sustainable Tourism Framework, whilst generating funds to directly invest in our locally led, locally targeted Foundation.
As the founding body of the Think Pacific Foundation, the enterprise provides essential core funding that underpins our long-term projects and partnerships, as well as cultural exchange opportunities. This model ensures that our work in Fiji is consistently resourced, community-driven and financially sustainable, enabling us to deliver lasting impact where it matters most.
Think Pacific Limited, Since 2009
This consistency allows us to commit to multi-year projects, maintain deep partnerships with communities and government ministries, and respond quickly when needs arise.
Additional Funding Streams
By supplementing this internal funding with support from external donors, corporate partners and grant-making organisations, we are able to expand our reach, scale successful initiatives and invest in specialised projects that require additional resourcing, delivering on shared objectives. We believe this blended funding model provides stability, with mutual benefits and assurances for all stakeholders.
We are entering a growth phase where we aim to expand our network of external donors, actively scaling our capacity and our operational network.
This approach ensures we can grow responsibly, in close alignment with our partners, and deliver shared outcomes that benefit rural Fiji.
Our In-Country Partnerships
Over 70 Operational Partnerships
We exist to support the work of our partner network. Over time we have developed very proud partnerships with organisations which are having a huge impact on the ground in Fiji across a variety of sectors, towards shared aims, values and beliefs.
We work with over 70 NGOs, government ministries and social enterprises in Fiji. We engage with these organisations in variety of ways, either as delivery partners on co-designed projects, as a provider of interns through our student placement programmes or in a grant giving capacity.
Hear from some of our partners…
Our biggest privilege is working with, and being strengthened by so many exceptional organisations.
Over 16 years, we have been guided by national bodies and created to support the development of young people across Fiji.
Our partners enable us to deliver this mission effectively by bringing expertise, knowledge, resources and leadership that elevate every project we undertake.
We look forward to continuing to bolster their work, capacity growth and initiatives on the ground by ensuring that every resource at our disposal is committed to investing in Fiji’s future.
